The name of the game this year is Tailgate Where You Are! This weekend we are in Jacksonville, FL to celebrate the wedding of two great friends! Since we will be tailgating away from home this weekend, I created a “Game Day On-The-Go” tailgate box to have at the hotel!
The tailgate box includes trail mix, “healthier” banana bread muffins (recipe in my stories!), cheese straws, smokehouse almonds, a mini Dasani, an AU shaker and button!
When I was a cheerleader at Auburn, whenever we would travel to away games we would make trail mix on the bus. The girls on the squad would bring an ingredient of their choice to add to the mix. It became a favorite little tradition of mine and I have included some of the ingredients that always made an appearance in our mix on those road trips! Making this trail mix now brings back the BEST memories! It would be a great activity to do with friends and family that join you at your tailgate, wherever that may be! Bonus-it can be bagged individually in your favorite team colors!
